The La Nueva España newspaper has launched “Dibuja tu Reino” (Draw Your Kingdom), a competition linked to the 2018 Covadonga Centenary Anniversaries. The EDP Foundation and Liberbank are backing this initiative, in which primary school students in Asturias can take part.

In order to take part in the competition, students must express their idea in relation to the history of Asturias, linked to the triple celebrations that are being commemorated this year: the 1300th anniversary of the origins of the kingdom of Asturias, the centenary of the declaration of the Moñtana de Covadonga National Park and the centenary of the canonical coronation of the Virgin.

The deadline for taking part ends on November 23. The EDP Foundation is encouraging all of its partners to get their children involved in this initiative.
