Seven new members in the Under 23 cycle team for its seventh season

The EDP Foundation and the Basque Country Cycling Foundation officially unveiled the technicians and riders that will make up the EDP Under-23 team for the 2014 season, the team's seventh. The squad has seven new members, six of whom are youth riders that stood out in different teams during the last season. In total, the squad will be made up of eleven riders.

Miguel Madariaga, President of the Basque Country Cycling Foundation, was present at the ceremony and Rafael Careaga, EDP Director of Institutional Resources and Relations, stressed the company’s commitment to Basque grassroots cycling and the amateur sport in general.

The squad will compete in the Elite-Under 23 category, include some international events, even though priority will be given to races held in the Basque Country. The young riders will thus be in the spotlight. The EDP Foundation, apart from sponsoring the team, is involved in the task of educating and training young cyclists from the Basque Country Cycling Foundation.
