Elena Aitzkoa, Begoña Zubero and Itziar Okariz will be the next three artists to appear at the ‘Meetings with Artists’ event, organised by the Artium Museum in Vitoria-Gasteiz and sponsored by the EDP Foundation. The talks will round off the initiative's programme for the rest of the year.
The sessions, which will take place on one Wednesday a month, seek to introduce the public to the creators of the works that make up the museum's collection. The events will start with a 90-minute colloquium, in which the artists will explain how they go about their creative process. The artists will then accompany the attendees to the Exhibition Hall, where the talk will continue.
Tomorrow, September 25, Elena Aitzkoa will be in the museum's Auditorium. In her speech, she will describe in detail how she creates her sculptures, which have a strong poetic quality. On October 9, it will be the turn of Begoña Zubero. Iztiar Okariz will round off the programme in November.
