The Foundation sponsored two of the main concerts on the musical scene. The first opened the 75th San Sebastián Music Fortnight, when the Toulouse National Chamber Orchestra, backed by the Orquesta Donostiarra and the Orquesta Txiki, performed “The Damnation of Faust”, one of the most important scores composed by Hector Berlioz. The concert was a sell out with nearly 2,000 people in the audience. The Minister for Culture and Education of the Basque Government, the Deputy Minister for Culture, the Mayor of San Sebastián, the Gipuzkoa Provincial Councillor for Culture, and representatives of San Sebastian society and culture were at the concert. EDP was represented by the Chief Executive Officer, Massimo Rossini.

Days later, the FOUNDATION travelled from San Sebastián to the Santander International Festival. Over 400 amateur athletes filled the streets of the seaside town with colour and excitement.
