The EDP Foundation rounded off the 2021 EDP Foundation Academy at a ceremony where the organisations were the star attraction, and at which two of them related in first person the long journey they were compelled to make to adapt to the new situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

EDP Foundation Academy is an innovative programme seeking to help strengthen the organisational capacities of associate organisations, in a bid to boost their social impact. In 2019 and 2020 the Academy reached out to 102 organisations, and brought in approximately 900 attendees from Asturias, Galicia, Aragón, the Basque Country, Madrid, Cantabria and Andalusia, in 27 sessions.
This time around over 400 people attended or viewed training in relation to Social Innovation, Project Formulation, Design Thinking, Fund Capture, Savings and Energy Efficiency, Digital Communication and Sustainable Development Goals, among other concepts.
Luz Minera is the title of the winning project of the second Public Art Ideas Competition, a competition organised by the EDP Foundation.
