An exhibition by Stella Rahola Matutes under the title “Empooling” opened at the Candas Scupture Centre at the Antón Museum on the 7th of this month. The pieces on show are the result of Stella’s research for the “Papel” art project, which won the Antón Scholarship for aid in the creation of sculptures in 2013. This scholarship is sponsored by Fundación EDP.
The opening was attended by the artist herself, the mayor of Carreño, a representative of Fundación EDP, the curator of the Antón Museum and a descendent of the artist after whom the museum is named.
