The Musical Fortnight of San Sebastian is a festival of classic music that was born in 1939 and it has become the older festival of music of Spain and one of oldest of Europe. It enjoys from his beginnings of the great prestige, and every year, during the month of August, it offers more of a hundred of concerts and spectacles distributed by diverse scenes of San Sebastian.
On the part of EDP in Spain they attended the concert, Manuel Menéndez, president; Javier Sáenz de Jubera, corporative general director; and Rafael Careaga, director of resources and institutional relations of EDP Naturgas Energy. The City council of San Sebastian was represented by Nekane Burutaran, delegated Town councillor of Property, Human Resources and Civil defense; Naiara Sampedro, delegated Town councillor of Culture and Basque; as well as by representatives of the different present political parties in the municipal corporation. On the part of the Delegation of Gipuzkoa Ikerne Badiola went, leasehold deputy of culture; and they also attended diverse representatives of the Basque Government.
Luz Minera is the title of the winning project of the second Public Art Ideas Competition, a competition organised by the EDP Foundation.

On 31 May the Oviedo Philharmonic Society is organising a solidarity concert backed by the EDP Foundation, featuring Ukrainian conductor Yuri Nasushkin, in support of Ukraine.
