600 runners will take part in the fourth edition of the EDP DesafiOSOmiedo Solomon. The mountain race, which will be held on July 30, will feature two distances: the ultra trail of 86 km and the marathon of 45 km.

The race was launched in Oviedo. During the launch, the organisers highlighted the growth of the race year on year, as well as its importance in the development of the municipality of Somiedo. They also stressed the great excitement generated by the race this year, with 2,000 applications to participate. Of these, only 600 will be able to take part in the race, 300 per distance. Among them are a number of EDP employees.

EDP’s support of this race is part of the company’s commitment to sport and healthy living, as well as the municipality of Somiedo, where the company undertakes various activities (generation and distribution), respecting the environment and collaborating in the conservation of the natural resources.
