The people on this family hike agreed it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, as it combined charity with the great outdoors, as the money raised went to Cáritas. EDP FOUNDATION sponsored this hike from the Plaza de España to the Olarizu Park.

It was an easy route and suitable for young and old alike. At the end of the hike, the organisers gave an aluminium telescopic walking stick, with an anatomical handgrip and steel tip, as a souvenir to each hiker who showed their stamped ticket.

Each year, the participants set off on the seven and a half kilometres that combines the streets of centre Vitoria with the countryside of a beauty spot in the Green Belt. Discovering the local area is precisely one of the aims of the fun hike, that changes its route each year.
