 The exceptional situation and the serious social, health and economic crisis that the country is experiencing as a result of COVID19 has led the EDP Foundation to launch an extraordinary EDP Solidarity Covid-19 call in October and to temporarily redirect the focus of the EDP SOLIDARITY programme.

In this regard, the 2021 programme will move away from the three traditional areas of intervention in order to deal with the consequences of the COVID19 crisis in specific areas of intervention, with a total budget of €800,000.

Since 2015, the programme has supported 121 projects in Spain totalling more than 3 million euros, which have benefited more than 200,000 people.
