The EDP Foundation launches the largest grant programme for university students in Asturias. The programme envisages 175 grants for university undergraduates who will complete their work placements at the different centres of EDP, the largest electricity company of Asturias and one of the main energy operators in mainland Spain and Portugal.
Top students at the faculties and schools of Oviedo University may submit their applications from Monday 2 September through the Oviedo University website (http://uniovi.infoempleo.com).
The EDP Foundation has been running this programme for 30 years and it has grown from grants for a dozen or so students to being, currently, the largest grant programme at the university. The work placements will take place between October and April.

The economic newspaper Expansión recognised the organisation as a ‘sustainable institution’ at the sixth edition of the ‘Innovación + Sostenibilidad + Red 2020’ awards

The students, who will start on November 3, will carry out training sessions both in the classroom and online.
The Princesa de Asturias
Foundation will have four electric cars to use for transport during the week of
the Awards.

Total aid for the initiatives comes to 600,000 euros.
