Cycling Festival in Derio

Yet again this year, the EDP Foundation and the Basque Cycling Foundation organised the now traditional Cycling Festival in Deiro (Bizkaia). The event was held for the twelfth time this year and it marked the end of the 2014 season for the members of the Basque Cycling Foundation.

The event attracted over 2000 people including participants and supporters, along with all the members of the Continental Euskadi Team, the Naturgas Energía Euskadi Cycling Foundation’s Under 23 amateur team, the members of the Naturgas Energía-Txorierri BTT School and the members of the new amateur high performance project for 2015.

The cycling festival aims to encourage young people to use bicycles as a means of transport and for fun and to enjoy a day out with the family.
