On Sunday, June 12, at 11:00 am, Gijon will host the 3rd EDP Donate Life Race. This aim of this charity race is to remind people of the need for altruistic donations of blood, organs and tissue to meet the needs of patients and, thus, make it possible to improve their health or save their lives.

The 7.5 km race, which starts and ends at the Playa de Poniente, will run through the streets in the beach area, Natahoyo, Jove, La Calzada and Moreda. There will be a chip timing system, which can be collected, along with the running number and technical shirt commemorating the event, on the day prior to the race or at the points marked by the organisation.

The registration fee is 6 euros and the deadline for formalising it closes on June 7. There are different entry categories, which will have their own respective awards. At the end of the awards ceremony, the organisation will raffle gifts among participants.
