Education and Research
DIPC is an organisation which promotes scientific research and technological development activities in the fields of basic and applied physics, which are of interest to society and international scientific development, with a special interest in nano sciences.
The Donostia International Physics Center is run by Pedro Miguel Echenique, winner of the Prince of Asturias Prize for Physics.
Music has been, is and will be a universal tool of unity, fraternity and peace.
Social
After twelve consecutive years the traditional Christmas concert was held once more at Santander Cathedral, on Sunday 19 December.
Culture
The initiatives will be carried out as part of the EDP Solidaria programme, to the benefit of 90,000 people in Andalusia, Aragón, Asturias, Cantabria, Castilla La Mancha, Madrid, the Community of Valencia, Galicia, Extremadura, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.
Social
The meetings brought science from the last frontiers to students, teachers and the general public, combining informative talks and workshops.
