The San Sebastian Musical Fortnight is a festival of classical music which started in 1939 and has become the oldest music festival in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe. Since its inception, it has enjoyed great prestige and every year, during the month of August, it offers more than a hundred concerts and shows distributed over various stages in San Sebastian.
On 31 May the Oviedo Philharmonic Society is organising a solidarity concert backed by the EDP Foundation, featuring Ukrainian conductor Yuri Nasushkin, in support of Ukraine.

EDP has sponsored, in the 74 edition of the Musical Fortnight of San Sebastian, the concert of the Symphony orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater, that directed for the first time to the Easo Choir, formation of reference in the history of the festival.
