Environmental
As part of the environmental programme “Planting Trees for Biodiversity”, which is aimed at increasing the available tree area, the EDP Foundation has signed collaboration agreements with a number of town councils to plant indigenous trees. The programme started in 2009 and, since then, has planted more than 140,000 trees in Asturias.
The University of Oviedo and the EDP Foundation present an environmental project carried out on the Gijón campus

The Foundation will be responsible for providing the seedlings required and any costs arising from their planting and maintenance for a period of five years.

FAPAS will be responsible for planting 2,000 trees at the resort.
