As it does every year, the Palacio de Festivales of Cantabria welcomes the opening ceremony of the International Festival of Santander (FIS), which is sponsored by the EDP Foundation. The concert will be attended by senior representatives from regional and local administrations, who will share a box with the directors of EDP and various personalities from the cultural, social and business world in Cantabria, marking the start of the Festival.

The opening of the FIS is an important social event and the public enjoys a great concert. Those attending are very keen to see great shows and enjoy music of quality, given the cultural importance that the FIS confers on Santander and Cantabria in Spain and abroad.
