The 'EDP Solidarity" programme is an initiative promoted by the EDP Foundation, the main objective of which is to contribute to improving the quality of people’s lives in areas where EDP carries out its activity.
The Foundation supports sustainable projects aimed at addressing social needs of the highest priority, promoting improvements in the quality of life and integration of people and groups who are most vulnerable and at risk of exclusion, as well as promoting employment and entrepreneurship.

The programme grants 600,000 euros to organisations in Asturias, Madrid, the Basque Country, Aragón, Andalusia and Galicia for initiatives in relation to energy efficiency, rural development, social exclusion and care for the elderly.
