The seventh edition of the Acordes con Solidaridad concert will take place on June 15 at the Teatro Real in Madrid. At a time when aid and charity have become even more necessary, this initiative, which is a 100% charity initiative supported by the EDP Foundation, is essential. All proceeds from the concert will go to support the work of the NGO Ayuda en Acción in Spain.
The Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid (Madrid Symphony Orchestra), conducted by Pablo Heras-Casado, the Teatro Real's principal guest conductor and an Ayuda en Acción ambassador, will perform Eduard Toldrà's Vistes al mar (Views of the Sea) and Gabriel Fauré's Pelléas et Mélisandre. To round off the event, and to mark the 40th anniversary of Ayuda en Acción, flamenco singer Marina Heredia, together with Pablo Heras-Casado and the orchestra, will perform El amor brujo by Manuel de Falla.
Acordes con Solidaridad is a cultural and social event that has taken place every year for the last seven years at the Teatro Real in Madrid. Tickets for this concert, which will be held following all necessary safety measures, can be purchased on the Teatro Real website.
