Women’s voices will be the protagonists of part of the programme dedicated to pop music, but it will also host two special events linked to Basque music. The classical music section will include, among others, a recital by the acclaimed French countertenor Philippe Jaroussky, and a contemporary ballet performance by Ballet Preljocaj, the company of one of the most prominent choreographers of the French scene, the Albanian Angelin Preljocaj.

The Congress Centre and Auditorium located in San Sebastián resumes its programme after postponing a few concerts due to COVID-19, such as Izaro, Amaral or the children’s concert “Eko-Musik”, currently adapted to the new health measures.

Kursaal Eszena proposes a total of fifteen events for its new season, some have been recovered from last season after having been cancelled due to COVID-19, and adapted to the new health measures. The season commences on 11 October with the concert by Amaia and concludes on 25 January with the recital by Phillipe Jaroussky. The EDP Foundation joins this space as a sponsor.

Kursaal Eszena will continue with its Kursaal Eskura proposal throughout this season; an initiative whose objective is to facilitate access to fans to its concerts from those municipalities in Guipuzcoa that are some distance from San Sebastián.

The Kursaal is a Congress Centre and Auditorium devoted to holding highly interesting events, as well as top quality cultural activities, in order to become and instrument to promote the wealth and image of Donostia and Gipuzkoa, generating an activity to attract people adding economic as well as knowledge added value to the area.

Ticket sales are already available at the Kursaal ticket office and on the website www.kursaal.eus. The Centre has also created a Spotify playlist so that its musical programme can be followed from anywhere.
