It is one of the most spectacular sporting events in the north of Spain on account of the beautiful unique scenery that it runs through and is about to be held in Santander, Cantabria. This is the IV 'Buscando Sonrisas' Night Trail, which will be held on Saturday the 29th of June with two races, one for walkers, which entire families can take part in and which will start at 19:00, and one for runners, which will start out at 21:45. In both races you need to complete 10 kilometres through the beautiful scenery along the coast of Santander.
This trail, which is sponsored by the EDF Foundation, is a charity race and all of the proceeds will go to the 2nd phase of humanising care in the paediatric emergency departments at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital.
The event is a perfect way to do sport as a family and also passes through a variety of surfaces (beach, tarmac, grass), which will give the people who have signed up the chance to enjoy a variety of experiences along the way with surprises, music, and especially, lots of smiles. Each participant must wear a headlamp, which must be turned on at all times for safety reasons.
You can register up to Sunday the 23rd of June through this link and there is also the 'VIP row' option, which will allow anyone to make a financial contribution to the cause without having to take part in the race.
