On 12 July, The Mayors of Carreño, Ángel Riego , and of Gozón, Ramón Artime, along with the President of Lucano Sailing Club, Francisco Artime, the President of the Sailing Federation of the Principality of Asturias, Pascual Fernández, and the director of the EDP HC ENERGÍA Foundation, Nicanor Fernández, presented the XV Asturias Sailing Week, which is organised by Luanco Sailing Club and sponsored by the EDP HC ENERGÍA Foundation and Cajasur.

The presentation took place at Carreño Town Hall at 1.00 p.m. The programme for the XV Asturias Sailing Week will include four different races. The DOUBLE HANDED Race will set off from Gijón on Tuesday 16th and will get the week underway.

The central stretch of the coastline of Asturias will be the backdrop for the yachts to take part in different categories and tackling different levels of racing, which will take place off the coast of Gijón, Carreño and Gozón.
