Jaime Rojo, from the Oviedo Cocina Económica soup kitchen, was handed by Nicanor Fernández, from the EDP FOUNDATION, 16,800 euros raised by the Responsible Points programme with the help of the Asturian utility company’s customers.

In 2013, over 4,000 EDP customers took part in the “responsible points” initiative, which consisted of converting the points of its customer loyalty programme into economic contributions for a non-governmental organisation. As part of this initiative that started in 2006, the EDP FOUNDATION undertakes to double the donation of each customer.
