Cruz Roja Bizkaia (Bizkaia Red Cross) collect 6,444 toys for children in a situation of social exclusion

The Cruz Roja Bizkaia ‘Sus derechos en juego’ (Their Rights at Stake) campaign was a success. 2,429 children in vulnerable situations received new toys last Christmas. They collected a total of 6,444 toys, which was more than the challenge set by the organisation of 6,000 toys this year.

The toys were given to children whose families are in situations of social exclusion. The EDP Foundation collaborated with this initiative from its offices in the Basque Country, with the help of volunteers from Cruz Roja Bizkaia, who collected the toys and made the selection by age.
