A group of B2B segment customers (major accounts) took part in an information day in Oviedo on the various initiatives being undertaken by the EDP Foundation in Spain. The meeting, which was attended by managers of the company, introduced the projects being promoted by the Foundation, among which the EDP Solidarity 2017 programme is at the fore.
The initiatives envisaged in the EDP Foundation’s Strategic Plan 2015-2017 include "supporting innovative, sustainable projects with the collaboration of B2B customers". These customers have shown interest in the projects and particular interest in collaborating with EDP Solidarity and attending the event to present the projects selected this year.
In addition, customers will be able to collaborate as members of the jury of the initiative to assess projects, as managers and/or financial backers of projects.
EDP Solidarity aims to improve the quality of life of the people who need it most, by supporting sustainable projects. The funding for this initiative in 2017 will be 575,000 euros, which will be allocated between those projects that justify the involvement of the EDP Foundation in the following action areas:
