In 2015, the CIBB held its seventh edition, consolidating it as one of the benchmarks at a state level as part of the improvement work. Every summer, more than 400 young people from all corners of the globe, who have chosen the Baskonia model to improve their basketball, gather in Vitoria.
The Buesa Arena and BAKH are where these young people work an average of eight hours a day to improve their individual technique and progress on to other aspects of the game thanks to a meticulous work method, led by David Gil and run by a team of about twenty experienced and highly qualified coaches, along with physiotherapists, coordinators, court managers and monitors, who make the stay a unique and unforgettable one.
The 2015 International Campus incorporated novelties regarding its format and work method compared to previous editions. The most prominent was the creation of a Mini Basketball Campus which was held at the Buesa Arena the week prior to the start of the campus, from June 21 to 27. It was a week of specific work aimed at young boys and girls born in 2004 and 2005.
The novelties in the work method came with the "Workshop on counter-attacking". This was specific training that allowed participants to improve their playing decisions at speed. This course on individual tactics was also held in the mornings along with another novelty, the "Special Course on Shooting", with exercises to improve shooting percentages. Both new workshops have specific material to carry them out properly.
